A Hauser woman was arrested Tuesday and close to 3 pounds of heroin was seized in a raid.
Kootenai County Sheriff deputies, in conjunction with Kootenai and Spokane SWAT teams, executed a search warrant on 38-year-old Paula L. Riojas's house.
Law enforcement located and seized 2.75 pounds of heroin, equivalent to a street value of $195,000. Detectives also located three firearms, methamphetamine, prescription pills, a cash counting machine, and several other items associated with the distribution of illegal drugs.
Riojas was arrested for trafficking heroin and unlawful possession of a firearm.
