Two Montana residents are now in jail after they were accused of trafficking heroin, methamphetamine, and other drug-related items across state lines.
29-year-old Levi C. Reardon, of Great Falls, Mont., and 26-year-old Tasha R. Bailey, of Kalispell, Mont. have been charged with trafficking heroin, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and introducing major contraband into a correctional facility.
The two were pulled over by ISP Feb. 3 on I-90. Police said they both had warrants out of Montana. After searching the vehicle, troopers found drug paraphernalia, including a glass pipe and scorched foil, and multiple containers with brown residue that was classified as heroin.
Reardon and Bailey were both arrested on the scene.
During a search at the Kootenai County Jail, authorities found half an ounce of meth and about seven grams of heroin inside Bailey's vagina.
Judge John Cafftery set both of their bails at $100,000 each.
